Reservations
Reservations are recommended for parties of four or more and essential on Friday and Saturday evenings. Smaller parties are usually fine walking in any night except Friday or Saturday after 6 PM.
How to Reserve
- By phone: (248) 905-5560 — Monday through Saturday, during open hours. The phone is the most reliable way to reach us.
- By email: [email protected] — please give us 24 hours notice for email reservations.
- In person: Walk in any open day and ask. We keep a paper reservation book at the front.
What to Include When Reserving
- Your name and phone number
- The date and time you'd like
- How many people
- Whether anyone in your party has dietary restrictions (vegan, celiac, halal, allergies) — gives the kitchen time to prepare
- Whether you'd like the coffee ceremony (requires 48 hours notice; minimum four diners)
- Any occasion (birthday, anniversary, first-time diners) — we'll make sure the table is set up for it
Best Times to Reserve
| Day | Notes |
|---|---|
| Monday – Thursday | Open 3:00 – 10:00 PM. Easiest to reserve. Best for first-time diners who want a quieter, more conversational meal. |
| Friday | Open noon – 10:00 PM. Lunch is wide open; dinner books up after 6 PM. |
| Saturday | Open noon – 10:00 PM. Our busiest day. Reserve at least a week ahead for dinner. |
| Sunday | Closed. |
Large Groups
For parties of 8 or more, we suggest calling at least a week in advance. For parties of 15 or more, see our private dining page — we can reserve a portion of the dining room and offer customized family-style menus.
Special Occasions
Let us know when you book. We do not provide cakes, but you are welcome to bring your own; we'll plate it and bring it out with candles when you'd like. For first-time diners, the staff will happily walk through the menu and offer the easiest path to a great meal.
Cancellation
No deposit is required for tables of fewer than 10. For parties of 10 or more, we ask 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reduce the party size, which lets us release the table to other diners.
Walking In
If you didn't reserve, you're still welcome. Tuesday through Thursday evenings the dining room usually has room for walk-ins. Friday and Saturday nights, the bar area and a few high-top tables are kept walk-in only — you may wait 20 to 40 minutes, especially after 7 PM.
